Wonderful position in Switzerland for a qualified British primary, or American elementary, teacher – preferably with IB experience.

The position:

A friendly and intelligent couple, living in the beautiful Swiss town of Lausanne, wish to employ a teacher to home-school a ten-year-old girl, and her eleven-year-old sister. The girls are sensitive and would respond best to a compassionate teacher with great empathy.

The candidate:

We are looking for a very kind teacher who is able to inspire her students and is genuinely passionate about holistic education. We are seeking a candidate with great moral values and the ability to help the girls grow into confident and caring members of society.

Duties:

• Teaching both girls according to the IB programme
• Inspiring the girls so that they enjoy studying
• Ensuring the girls are prepared for examinations
• Acting as a mentor to both girls
• Teaching 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)

Package:

• £4000-£4,500/month (net)
• Vacation and bank holidays in accordance with Swiss law.
• Studio/separate apartment provided and paid for
• Candidate only needs to pay approximately £250/month for Swiss health insurance, as compulsory
